ABOUT ME

Originating from Bethnal Green in the East End of London I played football in UK as a Junior and Youth Player before migrating to Australia. In Australia I played Senior Football at State League Level as a forward, winning many Best and Fairest Awards, and Goalscoring Awards, at both Club and Representative Level, before progressing, into Coaching the game i am passionate about.

I am now a Full Time Soccer/Football Coach with 25 years Experience Coaching at both Elite and Grassroots level, providing programs that suit the needs of the player.

Awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2005 I spent 7 weeks in Uk studying football, spending time at a number of clubs in the UK including Premier League, Championship, 1st and 2nd Division and both English and Irish F.A. Working with both mainstream and disabled players, and also studying Academy structures at a number of leading clubs.

2010/11 Under 20 Youth Men Coach, finished 5th, missing finals by 1 point.

Player Charlie King secured contract with Melbourne Heart.

 

 

WIMMERA SOUTH COAST EAGLES

We recently played a pre season match against new A League Team Melbourne Heart. Our squad comprised a combination of 2009/10 under 18 squad players and some invited players. We were sound in the match and eventually went down to Heart 3-1. Myself and Tony Horrocks as coaches were extremely pleased with the young teams performance against the very strong Team, who will be playing against EPL side Everton in a few weeks.

`A` LICENSE

I have completed part A of the A.F.C. `A` License at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. After 2 hard weeks we were presented with our certificates at a Graduation Ceremony at the Institute. 

Have now completed AFC Advanced License Refresher Course.
